2.0 BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION <br />2.1 SALARY REVIEW <br />2.1A The salary levels of all employees shall be reviewed at budget <br />setting time. Interim salary reviews may be held at the request <br />of an employee's supervisor. <br />2.2 VACATION - Fiscal year applicable. <br />2.2A Permanent full-time employees are entitled to paid vacations in <br />accordance with the following schedule: <br />EMPLOYEE UNDER DEF. 1.1A EMPIDYEE UNDER DEF 1.1B & 1.1C <br />YEARS OF SERVICE HOURS EARNED HOURS EARNED <br />1 40 hours 30 hours <br />2 - 6 80 hours 60 hours <br />7 - 14 120 hours 90 hours <br />15 and thereafter 160 hours 120 hours <br />Vacation is pro -rated for less than one year of service from the <br />anniversary date to December 31 at a rate of two (2) hours for each <br />thirty (30) days worked to be taken during the following fiscal year. <br />Permanent part-time employees shall accrue vacation rights on a <br />pro -rated basis at the discretion of the City Council. Vacation <br />accrued may be taken at a time approved by the employee's immediate <br />supervisor. <br />2.3 HOLIDAYS - Permanent full-time employees shall be entitled to the <br />following paid holidays, effective immediately upon employment, con- <br />sisting of eight (8) hours per holiday for employee under DEFINITION <br />1.1A, and six (6) hours per holiday for the employee under DEFINITION <br />1.1B and 1.1C: <br />NEW YEAR'S DAY <br />MARTIN LUTHER KING'S BIRTHDAY <br />MEMORIAL DAY <br />INDEPENDENCE DAY <br />LABOR DAY <br />VETERAN'S DAY <br />THANKSGIVING DAY <br />CHRISTMAS DAY <br />ONE FIDATING HOLIDAY <br />(effective January, 1986) <br />The City Council should establish the date on which each of these holidays <br />will be observed. <br />
