City Council meeting of September 17, 2007 <br />Page 5 <br />SCHEDULE MEETING TO DISCUSS SOUTH ETHAN AVENUE PROPOSED PUBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />At its meeting of September 4, 2007, Council directed staff to schedule a south Ethan Avenue <br />neighborhood meeting. City staff suggested that the meeting be scheduled for Monday, October 8, 2007, <br />at Hugo City Hall, at 7:00 pm. As all Council members have expressed interest in attending the <br />meeting: <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to attempt to schedule the neighborhood meeting <br />whereby all Council members could be in attendance. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />BCWD MANAGERS' TERM TO EXPIRE ON OCTOBER 21.2007 <br />City staff received notification from the BCWD that two of the managers' terms will expire on October <br />21, 2007. Any and all residents interested in serving on the Board should contact the Brown's Creek <br />Watershed District or the City of Hugo for application materials in order for the City to submit their <br />name(s) to the Washington County Board for appointment to the BCWD. No formal City Council action <br />was taken. <br />WBL SCHOOL DISTRICT FOUNDATION GALA <br />Council member Chuck Haas informed Council of the WBL School District Foundation Gala to be held <br />on Friday, September 28, 2007. He distributed invitations to the Mayor and Council stating the event is <br />a very worthy fundraiser for the community. <br />CITY OF HUGO'S 1sT ANNUAL FALL CLEAN UP DAY <br />Council and City staff discussed the City's 1" annual fall clean up day held on Saturday, September 15, <br />2007 at the Hugo Public Works facility and its success. Residents reported to staff that they hoped the <br />City holds the event next year. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 9:13 pm. <br />All aye.
