MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 1. 2007 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron City Administrator Mike Ericson, CD Director Bryan Bear, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Assistant City Attorney Jennifer Nodes, Public Works Director Chris Petree, Associate Planner Rachel Simone, and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2007 (I-35 W/E COALITION MEETING) Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the September 13, 2007- I-35 W/E Coalition meeting as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the September 17, 2007 meeting as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 18, 2007 (CITY WIDE BUS TOUR WITH COMMISSIONS) Petryk made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the minutes for the September 18, 2007 meeting with the City-wide bus tour held with the City Commissions and staff as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Add J.8 — Update on 2008 Comprehensive Plan Add J.9 — Update on Met Council Rural Planning Meeting held on October 1, 2007 Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the agenda for October 1, 2007 as amended. All aye. Motion Carried. 2006 CITY OF HUGO ANNUAL REPORT (WASHINGTON COUNTY SHERIFF BILL HUTTON AND CITY PROSECUTOR TOM WEIDNER Each year, the WCSO provides the City with an annual report compiling the statistics involved with the providing of police protection services. Washington County Sheriff Bill Hutton and Commander Mary Stutz were in attendance to present the 2006 annual police report to Council. Council accepted the annual report and thanked the WCSO for their excellent service to the residents of the City of Hugo.
