City Council meeting of December 3, 2007 <br />Page 6 <br />Mayor Miron would like Council to reconsider the following Planning Commission <br />recommendation to be included in the ordinance: or closer than 30 feet from the curb, except <br />that between one week before Memorial Day and one week after Labor Day, recreational <br />equipment may be parked no closer than 10 feet from the curb. After a lengthy Council <br />discussion about the ordinance amendment: <br />Miron made motion, Puleo seconded, to accept the Planning Commission's ordinance <br />amendment to the recreational vehicle Ordinance 2007-414 to include the following language to <br />Chapter 320, Section 1195-530-1, Subd. I LC: or closer than 30 feet from the curb, except that <br />between one week before Memorial Day and one week after Labor Day, recreational equipment <br />may be parked no closer than 10 feet from the curb. <br />VOTING AYE: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Granger <br />Motion Carried. <br />DISCUSSION ON EXPIRATION OF TERMS FOR COMMISSIONERS ON PLANNING <br />COMMISSION. PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION. HISTORICAL COMMISSION. <br />AND EDA <br />As Council is aware, a number of commissioner terms are expiring on December 31, 2007 on a variety <br />of the City's boards and commissions, all of whom desire reappointment to their respective boards and <br />commissions. As per a policy adopted by Council in 2006, Council has an opportunity to consider <br />reappointment with performance reviews of the commissioners as specified in the policy. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, directing staff to provide Council with a performance review <br />packet for each of the commissioners to review at its December 17, 2007 meeting. <br />All aye.
