MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 21, 2006 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson, CD Director Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, PW Director Chris Petree, Fire Chief Jim Compton, Assistant Chief Jadon 011ila, and City <br />Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF FEBRUARY 6.2006 <br />Granger made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the minutes for the February 6, 2006 meeting as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />F.1— Move Update on I-35E/CSAH 14 to March 6, 2006 <br />G.2 - Add the Name of Rachel Simone to CD Intern Appointment <br />Add M.1 — Discussion of Parks Commission Vacancy <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for February 21, 2006 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve Appointment of Community Development Intern <br />Approve Publication of Summary of Home Occupation Ordinance Amendment <br />Approve Application for Preliminary Plat and Site Plan Approval for Oneka Lake Townhomes (Cross <br />Country Properties) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the claims roster for February 21, 2006 as presented. <br />APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF RACHEL SIMONE AS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />INTERN <br />Included in the 2006 City budget is the funding for an intern in the community development department. <br />Staff received a total of 34 applications for the position. On Tuesday, February 14, 2006, City staff <br />conducted interviews of six applicants for the CD intern position and recommended that Council appoint <br />Rachel Simone as the City's new CD intern. Adoption of the Consent Agenda appointed Rachel Simone <br />
