City Council meeting of March 20, 2006 <br />Page 5 <br />APPROVE PRELIMINARY PLAT AND PUD FOR VICTOR GARDENS 6T" ADDITION <br />C( PDC) <br />Council member Puleo requested this be removed from the Consent Agenda for further explanation. <br />POA -Scherer LLC is seeking approval of an amendment to the Victor Gardens PUD plans to include <br />60single-family lots and 6 outlots on a portion of the development currently platted as Outlot E, Victor <br />Gardens East. The development will consist of 31 traditional homes and 29 detached villa units. The <br />Planning Commission voted unanimously to recommend approval. City Planner Kendra Lindahl <br />provided a brief PowerPoint presentation describing the project and the type of homes that would be <br />constructed. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2006-15 APPROVING A PUD <br />AMENDMENT FOR VICTOR GARDENS 6T" ADDITION. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2006-16 APPROVING <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR VICTOR GARDENS 6T" ADDITION. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />VACATION OF DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT FOR VICTOR GARDENS 6T" <br />ADDITION (CPDC) <br />POA -Scherer, LLC. is requesting the vacation of a drainage and utility easement that covers the existing <br />outlot. The vacation of the existing easement is necessary in order to plat the site. The proposed plat <br />will include 60 single-family lots and 6 outlots consisting of 31 traditional homes and 29 detached villa <br />units. The proposed development will manage all water on site through ponding and the plat includes <br />new drainage and utility easements over the wetlands and ponds, as well as adjacent to the lot lines. <br />Mayor Miron called the public hearing to order and there were no oral or written comments. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the vacation of a drainage and utility easement for <br />Victor Gardens 6"' Addition. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DISCUSSION ON 129T" STREET FEASIBILITY STUDY (JIM KELLISON) <br />At its February 21, 2006 meeting, Council discussed the 129h Street feasibility study, which had been <br />originally submitted in the form of a petition by resident Jim Kellison. City Engineer Jay Kennedy <br />discussed with Council the preliminary work to date in preparation of the engineer's study for providing <br />municipal water and sewer services to properties along 129'" Street, along with the construction of a new <br />bridge and reconstruction of the road. Jay provided a PowerPoint presentation with the final draft, <br />including funding sources for the project. In addition to municipal water/sewer, Council discussed <br />
