MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 17, 2006 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson, CD Director Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy, and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF APRIL 3, 2006 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded to approve the minutes for the April 3, 2006 meeting as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add K. l — Discussion on repairs to 165'h Street <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for April 17, 2006 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY CDBG REHAB PROGRAM <br />Several months ago, City staff met with representatives from the Washington County CDBG Rehab <br />program. This program is sponsored by Washington County and Greater Metropolitan Housing <br />Corporation, a nonprofit company, in order to provide financing for homeowners who wish to remodel <br />older homes. Jennifer Bergman and Stephanie Lincoln made a presentation to Council and Hugo <br />residents in order to solicit public interest in this program. Mayor Miron thanked them for their <br />presentation and stated that the City would gladly provide City residents with a contact number should <br />they need the service. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Claims <br />Approve 3.2 Temporary On -Sale Beer License for Hugo Lions Club for Good Neighbor Days <br />Approve Appointment of Tim Lorinser, Todd Jones, and Mark Koll to Regular Firefighter Status <br />Approve Authorization for HFD to Advertise for Sale of 1977 Dodge <br />Approve Annual Performance Review for Building Inspector Gary Schwartz <br />Approve Resolution Authorizing Demolition of Houses at 14625/14687 Forest Boulevard <br />Approve Water Ski Slalom Course on Sunset Lake (Dave Strub) <br />Approve Water Ski Slalom Course and Ski Jump on Round Lake (Mike Ball/Dan Davis) <br />Approve Application from Sal's Angus Grill for Renewal of 2:00 am Closing <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
