Motion Carried. <br />DISCUSSION OF MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR SHALLOW LAKES <br />Council member Frank Puleo shared with Council his desire to have the City develop management plans <br />for shallow lakes in the City. Mayor Fran Miron discussed with Council his concern whether this should <br />be part of the City's 2006 Focus Goals, similar to the Rice Lake Management Plan. Council agreed to <br />use outcome of Rice Lake as a template for other lakes. <br />UPDATE ON COUNCIL LISTENING SESSION OF MAY 8, 2006 <br />CD Director Bryan Bear provided Council a review of issues discussed at the listening session held on <br />May 8, 2006, citing density bonuses/criteria, and permanent open space preservation being the main <br />concerns of residents. Council entered a lengthy discussion of the issues and concluded: <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, that Council members Frank Puleo and Chuck Haas work with <br />CD Director Bryan Bear to discuss the current rural & open space preservation ordinance and recom- <br />mend to Council whether the issues be discussed at a regular City Council meeting or at a special work- <br />shop. <br />All aye.
