City Council meeting of June 19, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVE ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REVIEW FOR UTILITY BILLING CLERK JODIE <br />GUARESCHI <br />On June 17, 2002, Jodie Guareschi was hired by the City as its new receptionist. Over the past four <br />years, Jodie has been a valued and dependable City Hall employee exhibiting excellent customer service <br />skills, while serving as a front counter receptionist. Over the past year, Jodie has transitioned into the <br />City's full-time utility billing clerk, dealing with more than 2,000 water/sewer utility accounts. Jodie is <br />a trusted and valued member of the finance department taking on the responsibility, working closely <br />with both the finance director and the public works department during each billing cycle. Adoption of <br />the Consent Agenda approved the annual performance review for utility billing clerk Jodie Guareschi. <br />APPROVE REQUEST FOR VARIANCE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF DECK AT 6215146' <br />STREET NORTH (TUIL) <br />Matthew and Darla Tuil, 6215 146" Street North applied for a variance to construct a 10 X 12 foot deck <br />to be located seven feet from the side property line where a ten foot setback is required by ordinance. <br />This application was considered at the Board of Zoning Adjustments meeting on June 8, 2006 and the <br />Board unanimously approved the variance request. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />variance for Matthew and Darla Tuil at 6215 146" Street North for construction of a deck. <br />APPROVE RESOLUTION FOR TRANSFER OF OUTLOT A, WATERS EDGE TO WBL ISD <br />#624 <br />Consistent with the donation of land to the White Bear school district for the construction of the Oneka <br />Elementary School, City staff researched the need to transfer the ownership of Outlot A, Waters Edge, to <br />the WBL School District #624. CD Director Bryan Bear and City Attorney Dave Snyder approved the <br />conveyance and transfer of Outlot A in the Waters Edge development to the WBL school district. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved adoption of Resolution 2006-32 transferring Outlot A, <br />Waters Edge, to the WBL ISD #624. <br />SCHEDULE AUGUST 9, 2006 RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY FOR ONEKA <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />Principal Terry Dahlem from Oneka Elementary School informed the City that the WBL school district <br />has scheduled Wednesday, August 9, 2006, at 4:00 pm, for the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the <br />opening of the new Oneka Elementary School. Adoption of the Consent Agenda scheduled Wednesday, <br />August 9, 2006 as a public meeting, inviting the entire City Council to attend this ribbon cutting <br />ceremony for Oneka Elementary School. <br />APPROVE PAYMENT TO PULTE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ONEKA PARKWAY <br />The City entered into an agreement with Pulte Homes related to the construction of Oneka Parkway. As <br />part of the agreement, Pulte is responsible for the construction of the roadway, plus half the cost of the <br />construction administration being performed by the City. The City is responsible for the costs related to <br />the utilities, storm drainage, street lighting, and landscaping. Pulte Homes started work on the project <br />during the fall of 2005, and is currently asking for a progress payment for work completed to date on the <br />
