City Council meeting of March 7, 2005 <br />Page 7 <br />Investment Board. The Board is responsible for promoting job growth and economic development in <br />Washington County. The Board will hold its annual meeting on June 16, 2005 and has requested <br />attendance of city councils and economic development authorities from all cities in the county. <br />Miron made motion, seconded by Puleo, to schedule this luncheon meeting on Thursday, June 16, 2005, <br />as a City Council meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN <br />Council Member Haas requested that this item be added to the agenda for discussion. Council Member <br />Haas stated that he would like to have City staff begin looking at this program and to bring something <br />back for the next Council meeting. <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, directing staff to prepare an introduction to the pavement <br />management plan for the next City Council meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SPELLING OF RICE LAKE CENTER COMMUNITY ROOM <br />City Administrator Ericson placed this item on the agenda. Staff is seeking direction from the City <br />Council regarding the spelling of the Rice Lake Center Community Room; specifically, whether or not <br />the center should be spelled Center or Centre, which is the French spelling of the word, and coincides <br />with Hugo's French heritage. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to direct staff to spell it Rice Lake Centre, using the French <br />spelling of the word. <br />All aye.
