City Council meeting of April 4, 2005 <br />Page 8 <br />SCHEDULE OPEN HOUSE TO DISCUSS DOWNTOWN DESIGN GUIDELINES (JUNE 14, <br />2005.6:30 PM UNTIL 9:00 PM) <br />At its February 22, 2005 meeting, Council approved an agreement with Landform to develop <br />Downtown Design Guidelines. Landform is developing a schedule to gather input from the Council <br />and public. Following the City Council workshop, Landform will hold an open house to gather input <br />from the public on the design guidelines. <br />Granger made motion, Haas seconded, to schedule an Open House for Tuesday, June 14, 2005 from <br />6:30 to 9PM, to hold an Open House to discuss downtown design guidelines. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SCHEDULE CLOSED SESSION TO DISCUSS APPRAISALS RELATED TO THE CSAH 8 <br />PROJECT <br />Washington County staff expects the appraisals for the CSAH 8, Oneka Parkway, and Fenway/Finale to <br />be completed very soon. Once that information is complete, County and City staff will present the <br />information to the Council in a closed session prior to offers being made on the properties involved in <br />the acquisition of right-of-way and easements for the roads. <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a closed session for April 18, 2005 at 10:15 am, to <br />discuss appraisals related to the CSAH 8 project. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ONEKA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GROUND BREAKING <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a special meeting for Monday, April 18, 2005 at <br />4:00pm, to allow Council to attend the ground breaking ceremony for the Oneka Elementary School, at <br />the site of the new school. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />I.35 W/E COALITION MEETING <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to schedule a special meeting for April 21, 2005 at 7:00 pm, to <br />hold an I-35 W/E Coalition Meeting. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />NOTICE OF TERM OF OFFICE ON CARNELIAN -MARINE WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />City staff received notification from Washington County that the terns of office for two directors on the <br />Carnelian -Marine Watershed District will expire on April 31, 2005. Mayor Miron announced publicly that <br />any and all residents desiring to serve on the CMWD should contact Hugo City Hall for an application. <br />
