MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 15, 2005 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson; CD Director Bryan Bear; City Attorney Dave Snyder; City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy; Finance Director Ron Otkin; and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />APPROVE CITY COUNCIL MINUTES FOR AUGUST 1, 2005 <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the August 1, 2005 meeting as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add K.1 — Discussion of Frog Hollow Park <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for August 15, 2005 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF 2005 CITY AUDIT REPORT (JASON MILLER) <br />Auditor Jason Miller from Smith Shafer & Associates provided a Power Point presentation of the 2004 <br />City audit report. Finance Director Ron Otkin was thanked for his excellent work performance. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept the 2004 City audit report as prepared by Smith Shafer & <br />Associates. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ANNUAL REPORT ON HUGO COMMUNITY FOOD SHELF (MARGO GEVING) <br />Last month, City Administrator Mike Ericson, met with Food Shelf Director Margo Geving and visited <br />the Hugo Food Shelf located in a mobile trailer located next to the Rice Lake Park Building. As Council <br />is aware, the Hugo Community Food Shelf has been in operation for a year now, providing service to <br />any Hugo residents in need. Margo Geving was in attendance, along with Kim Corbett, to provide <br />Council with an annual report on the work of the Hugo Community Food Shelf, along with discussion <br />about the future direction of the program. Mayor Fran Miron thanked Margo and her volunteers for <br />providing a service to Hugo residents.
