MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING WORKSHOP HELD ON MAY 24, 2004 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron City Administrator Michael Ericson; CD Director Bryan Bear, City Attorney Dave Snyder; Water Resource Engineer Phil Belfiori; and City Planner Kendra Lindahl ABSENT: Frank Puleo The applicant is requesting approval of a PUD amendment to add approximately 19 acres to the project formerly known as "Diamond Point West", a preliminary plat for Diamond Point West 2nd Addition and Diamond Point West 3'd Addition, a rezoning for the 19 acres from R-3 to PUD. Diamond Point West 2"d Addition includes 39 units and Diamond Point West 3'd Addition includes seven residential units. There are no significant changes to the preliminary plat and PUD beyond the addition of the 19 -acres south of the original Diamond Point West plat. This issue was tabled at the City Council meeting of May 17, 2004. City Planner Kendra Lindahl presented a Power Point presentation of the project. Phil Belfiori spoke proactively about the storm water and drainage issue. Mike Quigley from Emmerich Development answered questions. Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 2004-392 AMENDING CHAPTER 320 (ZONING) BY CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION FROM R-3 TO PUD FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 2ND ADDITION. VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron Motion Carried. Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-35 APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR REZONING FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 2ND ADDITION. VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron Motion Carried. Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-36 APPROVING PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 2ND ADDITION. VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron Motion Carried. Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-37 APPROVING PUD GENERAL PLAN FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 2ND ADDITION. VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron Motion Carried.
