City Council meeting of May 24, 2004 <br />Page 2 <br />APPROVE FINAL PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR DIAMOND POINT <br />WEST 2 ADDITION <br />The applicant is requesting approval of a final plat for 39 single family homes in Diamond Point <br />West 2nd Addition. The final plat has no substantive changes from the approved preliminary plat. <br />A development agreement was prepared by the City Attorney and it addressed specific conditions <br />related to construction of Goodview Avenue. This matter was tabled at the City Council meeting <br />of May 17, 2004. Council member Mike Granger stated that he was disappointed that Goodview <br />Avenue is not being constructed until the winter of 2004-2005. He stated that he was not <br />comfortable about the project until specific timelines and issuance of building permits was <br />addressed. Council agreed and City Attorney Dave Snyder offered language contained in <br />Condition 14 of the Development Agreement. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2004-38 APPROVING FINAL <br />PLAT AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT FOR DIAMOND POINT WEST 2ND ADDITION. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />UPDATE ON TRACKING CITY ISSUES MEETING HELD ON MAY 11, 2004 <br />On May 11, 2004, a meeting was attended by Council members Mike Granger and Chuck Haas, as <br />well as City Administrator Mike Ericson and City staff. City Administrator Mike Ericson <br />provided an update on the meeting. This matter was tabled at the City Council meeting of May 17, <br />2004. Both Council members Mike Granger and Chuck Haas stated that they were impressed with <br />how staff currently tracks issues and projects. Staff will continue to improve efficiencies where <br />possible, and incorporate suggestions from CD Director Bryan Bear and his work experience in <br />Overland Park, KS. <br />CITY ADMINISTRATOR PERFORMANCE REVIEW <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder collected the performance reviews completed by the Mayor and City <br />Council members for their annual performance review of the City Administrator. The City <br />Attorney provided a brief recap of the results of the review as compiled by him and Mayor Fran. <br />This matter was tabled at the City Council meeting of May 17, 2004. Mayor Fran Miron thanked <br />the City Attorney and the firm for their excellent work in compiling the results of the reviews. He <br />stated the results indicated Mike is doing a good job with a slight improvement over last year's <br />review. Mike thanked the Council for the opportunity. <br />APPROVE NORTHERN LAKES 30K AND 10 -MILE RACE ON MAY 29 2004 <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson stated that the 8 Annual Northern Lakes Races will be ran <br />through Hugo in and around Bald Eagle Lake and Victor Garden. <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the Northern Lakes 30K and 10 -mile race to be <br />held on May 29, 2004. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
