MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF NOVEMBER 1. 2004 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petry*, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson; CD Director Bryan Bear; City Attorney Dave Snyder, City Engineer <br />Jay Kennedy; City Planner Kendra Lindahl; PW Director Chris Petree; and City Clerk Mary Ann Creager <br />APPROVE MINUTES FOR CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 18, 2004 <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the minutes for the October 18, 2004 meeting as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add J.1— Discussion of Traffic Signal at 147m Street and TH61 <br />Add K.1— Discussion of Oneka Park <br />Add K.2 — Citizen Request <br />Add L.2 — Notice of RCWD Public Hearing on November 10, 2004 <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for November 1, 2004 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approve Award of Bid for Redevelopment of Well #3 <br />Approve Encroachment Agreement for Deck at 5855 12e Street North (Southwest Builders) <br />Approve Probationary Period for CD Director and Appoint Bryan Bear as Regular Employee <br />Approve Reduction in Letter of Credit for Beaver Ponds South <br />Approve Appointment of New Hugo Firefighters <br />Approve PUD for Oneka Elementary School and Community Gymnasium <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVE AWARD OF BID FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF WELL #3 <br />At its October 4, 2004 meeting, Council authorized E.H. Renner & Sons to conduct an investigation into <br />the sand problem in well #3. Upon completion of the televising of the well, staff, engineers, and the <br />contractor agreed with an approach to remove the sand from the well. The City received quotes from <br />three municipal well contractors to complete the work. Adoption of the Consent Agenda awarded the <br />work to the low bidder, E.H. Renner & Sons in the amount of $23,300, with funding from the City's <br />water construction fund. <br />
