City Council meeting of December 20, 2004 <br />Page 6 <br />EXPIRATION OF TERMS FOR PLANNING COMMISSIONERS <br />On December 31, 2004, the Planning Commission terms for Sandy Malaski and Bob Rosenquist will <br />expire. As per City policy adopted by Council in 2003, Council has the option for reappointment of the <br />members, if so interested, as well as the posting for the positions with the opportunity to interview any <br />and all candidates. Commissioner Rosenquist is interested in returning to the PC; however, Sandy has <br />stated that because her husband will soon retire, that she would not be interested in another 4 -year term. <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, to reappoint Bob Rosenquist and Sandy Malaski to the PC for <br />an interim position until a final appointment decision is made by the City Council. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />UPDATE ON 12/13/04 WBL SCHOOL BOARD MEETING <br />Council member Chuck Haas attended the December 13, 2004 WBL School Board meeting, at which <br />School Board Chair Rolf Parsons was recognized as a 2005 All -State School Board Chair of the Year, <br />which he richly deserves. <br />HFD TOYS FOR TOTS <br />The KARE 11 campaign for Toys for Tots recognized the HFD on live television on December 15, <br />2004. Congratulations to the HFD for a job well done. <br />CHANGE IN MEETING DATE DUE TO MARTIN LUTHER KING HOLIDAY <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to reschedule the 2"d regular meeting of the City Council in <br />January 2005 to January 24, 2005 at 7:00 pm. <br />All aye.
