City Council meeting of March 3, 2003 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVE SITE PLAN FOR MN UNION BUILDERS TO DISPLAY MODEL HOME <br />MUB is requesting approval to display a model home on their industrial property located in the Bald Eagle <br />Industrial Park. The model home would not be inhabited and would be changed from time to time. The <br />purpose of the model home is to allow potential buyers to view the type of home produced by MUB. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved display of the model home and site plan as recommended by the <br />Planning Commission. <br />APPROVE SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT W/SEH FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL WORK AT <br />TH61 AND 146m STREET <br />City Engineer Dave Mitchell prepared a Supplemental Agreement for Professional Engineering Services <br />between the City of Hugo and SEH for construction services related to work ordered and approved in <br />April 2000. The Supplemental Agreement requests a fee for services in an amount estimated at $42,500. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Supplemental Agreement with SEH in an amount not to <br />exceed $42,500 for the engineering services on TH61 and 140'" Street traffic signal project. <br />APPROVE PAY REQUEST #15 FROM LANDMARK STRUCTURES FOR WORK <br />COMPLETED TO DATE ON WATER TOWER NO.3 <br />Landmark Structures made application to the City for approval of pay request # 15 for work completed to <br />date on water tower #3. Project Manager Steve Campbell from SEH reviewed the request and found it <br />to be consistent with work completed to date. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved payment to <br />Landmark Structures in the amount of $4,132.50 for work completed to date on water tower #3. <br />AUTHORIZE ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TO GRAVEL CITY ROADS <br />Each year, the City of Hugo advertises in order to solicit bids for the graveling of City roads. Public <br />Works Director Chris Petree prepared the necessary advertisement and requests authorization to <br />advertise for bids for the graveling of City road in 2003. Adoption of the Consent Agenda authorized <br />staff to prepare the advertisement and solicit bids for graveling of City roads for 2003. <br />APPROVE MARCH 20.2003 TRI -CITIES COALITION MEETING DATE <br />At its January 21, 2003 meeting, Council directed staff to schedule a date for the next tri -cities coalition <br />meeting in order to discuss the I -35E and CSAH 8/14 interchange project and proposal for a corridor <br />study. City staff solicited dates and recommends Council approve Thursday, March 20, 2003 as the <br />City's third tri -cities coalition meeting date. The cities of Lino Lakes and Centerville have agreed on <br />this date and staff will officially invite members from Columbus Township, Washington County, and <br />Ramsey County. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved 7:00 pm, March 20, 2003 as the next tri - <br />cities coalition meeting date. <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL FUNDING OF I -35E AND <br />CSAH 8/14 INTERCHANGE <br />At its February 18, 2003 meeting, the Council adopted a resolution authorizing staff to solicit HPP City <br />
