MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 4, 2003 Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron City Administrator, Michael Ericson CD Director, John Rask City Attorney, Dave Snyder Asst City Engineer, Tom Tabler City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 21, 2003 Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the July 21, 2003 City Council meeting as presented. All aye. Motion Carried. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Remove G.5 from Consent Agenda for discussion Delete G. 6 from Consent Agenda Add K.1— Discussion of Public Works Space Needs Study Add K.2 — Tri -Cities Meeting on August 7, 2003 Add L.2 — Bid Award for Atkinson Ditch Project on TH61 Add 1-3 — City Hall Holiday Gathering Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for August 4, 2003 as amended. All aye. Motion Carried. THERMAL IMAGING CAMERA & TWO AUTO DEFIBRILLATORS AND TRAINERS TO HUGO FIRE DEPARMENT BY HUGO LIONS CLUB (CHIEF JIM COMPTON) Fire Chief Jim Compton and member of the HFD were present, along with members of the Hugo Lions Club, to formally present to the Hugo City Council the thermal imaging camera and two auto debrillators and trainer, which were purchased with a majority donation from the Hugo Lions Club. Chief Compton recognized members of the Lions, who were present, to share with Council their support for the community and the protection of residents through the use of this equipment. Mayor Fran Miron recognized this significant donation from the Hugo Lions Club and Council members publicly thanked those members for their community support and thanks to the HFD for its fine work. CONSENT AGENDA Granger made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: Approval of Claims Approve Preliminary Plat for Fabled Hills 11 Addition Subdivision (Len Pratt) Approve Site Plan for Mini -Storage in the BEIP 5'h Addition (Tom Jackson)
