City Council meeting of August 4, 2003 <br />Page 7 <br />PUBLIC WORKS SPACE NEEDS STUDY <br />Council member Granger provided Council with a status report of this issue. The City received seven <br />proposals and will be interviewing firms for the job. This issue will be discussed at the Parks <br />Commission meeting of August 13'b, at which the Master Plan of the Rice Lake Park Building will be <br />discussed. <br />TRI•CITIES COALITION MEETING REMINDER <br />The Tri -Cities Coalition will be meeting this Thursday, August 7, 2003 at 6:00 pm to conduct a bus tour <br />of areas in Washington and Anoka Counties to consider land use issues. <br />ATKINSON DITCH <br />The City received two quotes and a low bid of $10,810 from RoSo Contracting to repair the ditch in <br />front of the Atkinson property at 140'b Street and TH61 as part of the traffic signal project. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to award the bid for repairs to the Atkinson ditch to RoSo <br />Contracting in the amount of $10,810. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL CHRISTMAS PARTY <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to hold the City Hall Christmas party at the new American Legion <br />Post 620 Club on December 4, 2003. <br />All aye.
