MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 22, 2002 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />CD Director, John Rask <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />CITY COUNCIL MINUTES FOR JANUARY 7, 2002 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of January 7, <br />2002 with the correction to the motion on the Tschida rezoning. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Delete G.2 and G.5 from Consent Agenda for discussion <br />K.1 Senator Jane Krentz Town Meeting Update <br />K.2 Resident Use of New Community Room <br />L.1 Oneka Lake View Update <br />L.2 Nonpoint Pollution Program <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for January 22, 2002 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FINAL REPORT ON CHARRETTE PROCESS (MIKE LAMB OF HGA) <br />Mike Lamb from Hamel Greene Abrahamson (HGA) presented to Council the final report on the <br />charrette process for the new vision for the City. Mike presented a draft of the community -visioning <br />plan to the Council in October 2001, and to the Planning Commission as well, for its final comments. <br />This final report on the community visioning concluded the charrette process, which began in March <br />2001. Two key components of the vision for the new Hugo will be the construction and anchoring of <br />the new City Hall in downtown Hugo, and the development of an elementary school north of CSAH 8, <br />in cooperation with the WBL school district. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept the final draft report of the charrette process from HGA <br />and schedule a workshop for February 25, 2002, at 7:00 pm, to further discuss specifics of the charrette <br />process report. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LANDFORM PLANNING CONSULTANTS MNDRA LINDAHL) <br />Included. in the City's 2002 budget, staff budgeted for the use of a planning consultant to assist the CD <br />
