City Council meeting of January 28, 2002 <br />Page 2 <br />PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY <br />The Council discussed the need for a building to house the equipment. Greg Felt agreed to house the motor <br />grader and two plow trucks in the County garage for one year. <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to authorize to prepare a space needs study and prepare site <br />selection options. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROGRAM <br />City Engineer Dave Mitchell reported on the street management program he prepared for the City's CIP. <br />Council agreed with his recommendation to prioritize the list and include it in the next year's budget. Dave <br />stated the City needs land for a new water treatment facility and Well #5. <br />PARKSII'RAILS MAINTENANCE <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson and Public Works Director Chris Petree reported a request from residents <br />to have the City's trails plowed. The City doesn't have the staff time to do this. <br />Miron made motion, Hass seconded, to authorize staff to prepare a draft policy on this issue for the <br />February 19, 2002 City Council meeting. <br />All Ayes.
