City Council meeting of July 1, 2002 <br />Page 8 <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR FENWAY PARK <br />Kettler Construction and Len Pratt requested preliminary plat approval for 34-twinhome lots in a plat <br />known as Fenway Park. The plat would be located north of the planned extension of 140'h Street and <br />west of Fenway Blvd. The applicant is requesting approval of the preliminary plat to allow creation of <br />the 34-twinhome units and two common lots on approximately 11.39 acres of the 17.33 acres. At its <br />June 13, 2002 meeting, the Planning Commission continued the public hearing on the proposed <br />development, and after discussion, unanimously recommended approval of the rezoning to PUD, <br />Findings of Fact for rezoning, PUD general plan, and preliminary plat. Len Pratt and Council <br />extensively reviewed the plat and the proposed twinhomes to be constructed on the site. City staff <br />recommended Council approve the preliminary plat for the construction 34-twinhomes on the 17.33 -acre <br />site known as Fenway Park. <br />Puleo made motion, Haas seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 2002-361 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING <br />CHAPTER 320 (ZONING ORD) TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LAND LOCATED AT THE NW % OF <br />THE INTERSECTION OF FENWAY BLVD AND THE FUTURE 140TH STREET. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-32 APPROVING FINDINGS OF <br />FACT FOR REZONING FOR FENWAY PARK. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Granger made motion, Puleo seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-33 APPROVING PUD <br />GENERAL PLAN FOR FENWAY PARK. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2002-34 APPROVING A <br />PRELIMINARY PLAT FOR FENWAY PARK. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL LANDSCAPING UPDATE <br />Council member Frank Puleo presented to Council an update on the City Hall landscaping to date. As <br />Council is aware, the final completion of the work has been delayed due to the significant amount of <br />rain. Arnt Construction will complete additional site grading work with the installation of sod by <br />
