MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF AUGUST 5.2002 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:05 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />CD Director, John Rask <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Water Resource Engineer, Pete Willenbring <br />MINUTES FOR THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 15.2002 <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of July 15, <br />2002 as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Move N.1 to F.4 <br />Delete from Consent Agenda for Discussion 1-3-4-5-8-14 <br />Delete from Consent Agenda G.15 <br />Add Dennis Hegberg as F.3 <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for August 5, 2002 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />2001 CITY AUDIT PRESENTATION (THOMAS KOOP OF LARSON ALLENI <br />As part of the annual audit procedure, Thomas Koop of Larson Allen, the City's auditing firm, presented <br />the 2001 City audit to the City Council. Mr. Koop stated that the City's finances were in excellent <br />condition. The City has 120 days in reserve where the suggested standard is 180 days. <br />Haas made motion, Granger seconded, to accept the 2001 City audit as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />DENNIS ROBINSON (CANDIDATE FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY COhEWSSIONER) <br />Dennis Robinson introduced himself before the Council to announce his candidacy for the Washington <br />County Commissioner position currently held by Dennis Hegberg. <br />DENNIS HEGBERG (WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONER) <br />Dennis Hegberg appeared before the Council stating his interest in being reelected to the Washington <br />County Commissioner's position. He also recapped his meeting with Congressman Mark Kennedy and <br />other dignitaries regarding transportation problems in the City. <br />
