City Council meeting of August 5, 2002 <br />Page 13 <br />special letter of thanks should go out the Representative Mark Holsten, Representative Tom Osthoff, <br />Representative Leonard Price, and Senator Jane Krentz. <br />Munn made motion, Haas seconded, directing staff to send letters to Representative Mark Holsten, <br />Representative Tom Osthoff, Preuss, and Senator Jane Krentz for their work in getting approval of <br />legislative funding for $ 1.25 million dollars for the Hardwood Creek public improvement restoration <br />project. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to remove from table the August 5, 2002 claims from Springsted, <br />Inc., WSB Engineers, and SEH Engineers. <br />All aye. Motion Carried <br />The Council discussed with staff the process for approval of claims submitted to the City. It was agreed <br />that additional steps need to be taken prior to claims being presented to Council for approval, with the <br />City Administrator Michael Ericson and CD Director John Rask reviewing claims. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the August 5, 2002 claim from SEH Engineers, with the <br />exception of #89842. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the August 5, 2002 claim from WSB Engineers as <br />presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the August 5, 2002 claims from Springsted, Inc., <br />subject to staff review of a more detailed invoice. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CITY HALL LANDSCAPING <br />Council member Frank Puleo updated Council on the status of the City Hall landscaping project. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Miran made motion, Haas nded, to adjourn at 12 noon. <br />A11 aye.
