MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 21.2002 <br />Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Council member Mike Granger arrived at 8:45 pm <br />City Administrator, Michael Ericson <br />CD Director, John Rask <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />Water Resource Engineer, Pete Willenbring <br />City Clerk, l ary Ann Creager <br />hE NUTES FOIt:Cf]rY COUNCIL MEETING OF OCTOBER 7.2002 <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of October 7, <br />2002 as presented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Add G.15 — Purchase of Easements for BN/SF for TH61/140th Street Signal <br />Add G.16 — Pay Request from Southview Design for City Hall Landscaping <br />Add HA — Reconsideration of Indoor Riding Arena Ordinance <br />Add L.3 — Reminder of October 28, 2002 budget workshop <br />Add I.4 — Discussion of CSAH8 Realignment <br />Add I.5 — Discussion of audio/visual system in Council chambers <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the agenda for October 21, 2002 as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PRESENTATION OF ONEKA TOWNSHIP ROAD GRADER (HOWARD SCHLET M <br />Local resident and former Oneka Township employee Howard Schletty has stored the township's road <br />grader on his property for the past several years. In recognition and appreciation of his civic <br />mindedness, the Hugo City Council presented Mr. Schletty with a Certificate of Appreciation for his <br />generous service to the community and willingness to provide a storage site, since the City did not have <br />any space available. Mayor Miron recognized the Schletty family's years of service to the community, <br />as well as a brief history of the stored grader and how it was used in the 1920's. Mr. Schletty was in <br />attendance at the Council meeting to publicly return the grader to the City and accept a Certificate of <br />Appreciation. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Approval of Claims <br />
