Its mission is to help than become self directed, <br />productive, and contributing members to their community. They have requested Council consideration <br />of the use of the old school house because of its proximity to Woodloch Stables and the need to have a <br />location by a horse stable. City staff provided no recommendation on the use of the schoolhouse due to <br />its concern for a safe and dry interior condition. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, directing staff to contact Ms. Gensch encouraging her to use other <br />City facilities for her Hugo Horseshoe 4H Club as the old school house lacks heat and plumbing <br />facilities. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />LEMOINE PROPERTY <br />At its meeting of November 4, 2002, Council denied a request from Jim LeMoine to sell his property for <br />a building site for a single family residence. Denial was based on a City decision made years ago to <br />preserve the property as a "scenic view". Mayor Miron suggested that the LeMoine property be <br />purchased by the City to be used for parkland. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, directing staff to work with Jim LeMoine to determine a purchase <br />price for his 4.3 -acre parcel of land along Homestead Avenue and submit proposal to Council for their <br />review. <br />All aye. Motion Canned. <br />PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING COMMITTEE <br />City Administrator Michael Ericson requested Council action for the creation of a Public Works <br />Building Committee. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, creating a Public Works Building Committee consisting of the City <br />Administrator Michael Ericson, Public Works Director Chris Petree, and Council members Mike <br />Granger and Frank Puleo. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />SCHEDULE MEETING DATE <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to schedule a special Council meeting for Monday, November <br />25, 2002, at 7:00 pm, to meet with Washington County to 1) further discuss the CSAH 8 realignment <br />project, and 2) continue discussion of the proposed 2003 budget. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
