City Council meeting of April 2, 2001 <br />Page 9 of 9 <br />WILLIAMS SOIL STORAGE AGREEMENT <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder informed the Council they were commencing eminent domain <br />proceedings on the Williams residence, 14651 Fitzgerald Avenue North, for the construction site of <br />the new City Hall. The Council considered a Soil Storage Agreement to allow the City to store soil <br />on the site prior to the purchase at the cost of $1,500 to be paid to the Williams after signing the <br />Agreement. <br />Puleo made motion, Miron seconded, to enter into an agreement with the Williams to store soil on <br />their property at 14651 Fitzgerald Avenue North, prior to the acquisition of it, for the sum of $1,500. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />CHARRETTE UPDATE <br />The City is beginning a community visioning/charrette process to assist in identifying strategies for <br />shaping the future direction of the City. This process is to begin with a series of workshops scheduled <br />to begin April 4, 2001. <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to approve the attendance of the City Council at the charrette <br />process, and notice the workshop as a public meeting, and invite all residents to attend the workshops. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PAUL GLAMOS MEETING <br />Paul Glamos from Glamos Wire Products contacted Councilman Puleo about this disagreement over a <br />utility easement on his property, which was designed into the Peloquin Industrial Park Public <br />Improvement Project. Councilmen Puleo and Granger requested to be at a meeting with Paul and his <br />father and City Engineer Dave Mitchell so that this issue could be discussed. Staff agreed and said <br />they would schedule a meeting with the Glamos family the next morning after the Council meeting. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Petryk made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 11:00 pm. <br />All ayes.
