Motion carried. <br />APPROVAL OF PURCHASE OF COMPUTER FILE SERVER <br />Staff had investigated several possibilities for necessary upgrades to the City's computer system to <br />provide a more stable and effective delivery of computer services to departments. Working with the <br />City's local computer software and hardware network support services provider, CIT, staff requested <br />Council approve the purchase of a full service file server that would serve the City of Hugo both at its <br />current facility, as well as in the new City Hall. <br />Puleo made motion, Granger seconded, to authorize the purchase and installation of a new file server <br />for City Hall from CIT for $16,199.10. <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />ORGANIZATION OF RECORD DRAWINGS <br />Public Works Director Chris Petree had been meeting with City Engineer Dave Mitchell for the past <br />several months to determine the best method to organize the City's record drawing, which include <br />mylars, blueprints for commercial developments, as well as the standard hanging files currently in the <br />Council chambers. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded to authorize the City to work with technical staff from SEH to <br />organize the City's as-builts and drawings in way that provide more efficient use of the documents for <br />both staff and public at a cost of $7,000 to $7,500. <br />KATIE POIRIER LEGISLATION UPDATE <br />Council Member Petryk told the Council she had requested information by mail regarding Katie <br />Poirier Legislation and would be sharing it with the Council as soon as she received it. <br />VACANCY OF CARNELIAN -MARINE WATERSHED DISTRICT <br />The Carnelian -Marine Watershed District has informed staff of an upcoming vacancy on the District. <br />Mayor Miron invited all residents who may wish to serve on the watershed district to contact staff at <br />City Hall. <br />TRUCK TRAFFIC AND ROAD RESTRICTIONS (GARBAGE TRUCKS) <br />The Public Works Director gave refuse haulers permission to continue haul within the City Hugo <br />despite road restrictions. The City Administrator informed the Council the ordinance regarding road <br />restrictions would be reviewed at staff level and a recommendation would be brought back to the <br />Council. <br />
