Motion Carried. <br />SITE PLAN, CUP, AND VARIANCE REQUEST (61 STOP) <br />At its April 25, 2001 meeting, the Hugo Planning Commission reviewed a site plan, CUP, and variance <br />application from the owners of the 61 Stop, which is a convenience store located at 14815 Forest <br />Boulevard. The owners plan an addition to the current Conoco station, including a small drive -up bank. <br />The PC recommended approval of the site plan, CUP, and variance request for the addition to the 61 <br />Stop, subject to conditions. City staff recommended that Council deny the site plan, CUP, and variance <br />request for the 61 Stop, 14815 Forest Blvd. Councilman Haas expressed concern for traffic safety at this <br />intersection and wanted to have downtown business owners meet to discuss downtown development. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to table this request until May 21, 2001 to allow staff to meet with <br />applicant and other business owners. <br />VOTING AYE: Haas, Petryk, Miron <br />VOTING NAY: Granger and Puleo <br />Motion Carried. <br />SITE PLAN REQUEST (WOODY'S BAR & GRILL) <br />At its April 25, 2001 meeting, the Hugo PC considered a site plan request from the owner of Woody's <br />Bar and Grill for an addition to the bar and restaurant, and after much discussion, recommended <br />approval of the site plan request. City staff recommended Council approve the site plan request for an <br />addition to Woody's Bar and Grill located at 12010 Keystone Avenue. The applicant will have a <br />number of conditions to meet prior to issuance of a building permit to improve the facility. <br />Miron made motion, Haas seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2001-16 APPROVING SITE PLAN FOR <br />WOODY'S BAR AND GRILL AT 12010 KEYSTONE AVENUE. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />GOOD NEIGHBOR DAYS SECURITY <br />Council member Petryk received a letter from the Hugo Lions Club requesting the City provide security <br />for Good Neighbor Days, as well as the parade. <br />Petryk made motion, Haas seconded, that the City coordinate provision of police security for Hugo Good <br />Neighbor Days. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
