City Council meeting of October 15, 2001 <br />Page 7 <br />APPOINT PROBATIONARY FIREFIGHTER <br />Petryk made motion, Miron seconded, to appoint Jodie Guareschi as a Hugo firefighter, subject to a six- <br />month probationary period. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FIRE CHIEF SELECTION COMMITTEE <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to appoint the following to serve on the Fire Chief Selection <br />Committee: Joe McMahon, Jim Leroux, Becky Petryk, and Mike Ericson. The Committee shall provide <br />a recommendation of appointment to the Council after deliberations. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />The Council stated that they would like to see the applications of the final three candidates. <br />ICMA ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson attended the ICMA annual conference in Salt Lake City, Utah, and <br />provided a brief update on the conference. <br />WHITE OAK HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION UPDATE <br />City Engineer Dave Mitchell provided the Council with an update on the final work required to complete <br />the White Oak Heights subdivision. He stated that there is a small amount of clean-up work, and a final <br />wear course needed. Mr. Smith's letter of credit will expire on October 29, 2001, and Mr. Mitchell has <br />notified him that all work is to be completed by October 20, 2001 or the City will draw on his letter of <br />credit and have the work completed. <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, directing staff to communicate with Mr. Craig Smith, developer <br />of White Oak Heights, that work is to be finalized on the project or the City will draw on his letter of <br />credit and have necessary work completed. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Petryk made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 10:00 pm. <br />All aye.
