City Council meeting of November 19, 2001 <br />Page 5 <br />Council could not decide on a particular project to fund, and the grant would require the City to match <br />the grant dollar for dollar (or $30,000), no Council action was taken on this issue. Staff will continue to <br />research potential projects. <br />JD2 COST AND DISBURSEMENTS <br />City Attorney Dave Snyder provided the Council an update on the cost and disbursements to date for <br />the JD2 lawsuit court fees that the City must pay as part of the lawsuit. The City has filed a <br />memorandum with the courts, and Judge Stephen Muehlberg will make a fianl decision. <br />DECEMBER 1. 2001 JOINT MEETING WITH COUNCIL AND PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Staff reviewed the agenda for the December 1, 2001 joint meeting with the Planning Commission with <br />Council. <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, that the joint meeting for December 1, 2001 be scheduled as <br />follows: work with facilitator Barbara Strandell from 9:00 am until 11:00, and work on the land use <br />ordinance from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />A box lunch will be served at noon. Staff will invite previous Planning Commission applicants to this <br />meeting, along with local legislators and the City's Washington County Commissioner. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to adjourn at 9:25 pm. <br />All aye.
