City Council meeting of December 3, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br />APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST FROM MARK HAUG CONSTRUCTION. INC.. FOR WORK <br />ON CITY HALL <br />Mark Haug Construction, Inc., submitted its 5th pay request to the City for work completed to date on <br />the new City Hall. City architect Bob Russek reviewed the pay request and found all work to be <br />sufficiently complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda authorized payment to Mark Haug, Inc., in the <br />amount of $205,795.45. <br />APPROVAL OF PAY REQUEST FROM MUNICIPAL BLDRS FOR WORK COMPLETED <br />ON PUMPHOUSE NO.3 <br />Municipal Builders, Inc., submitted its 6th pay request to the City for work completed to date on <br />pumphouse No. 3. City Engineer Dave Mitchell reviewed the pay request and found all work to be <br />sufficiently complete. Adoption of the Consent Agenda authorized payment to Municipal Builders, <br />Inc., in the amount of $33,255.22. <br />JD2 RESOLUTION <br />At its November 19, 2001 meeting, the City Council approved the endorsement of the resolution of <br />support to the RCWD for the joint proposal for the engineering and construction design for the <br />replacement culverts for JD2. Council directed City Attorney Dave Snyder to prepare an accompanying <br />resolution of support, and requested that it be brought back for approval by the City Council. Mayor <br />Miron revised Attorney Snyder's resolution and presented it to the Council and City Attorney for <br />consideration. <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2001-70, A RESOLUTION OF <br />SUPPORT FOR THE DESIGN ENGINEER AND JOINT FUNDING PROPOSAL TO THE STATE <br />OF MINNESOTA FOR FUNDS TO REPLACE CERTAIN ROAD CULVERTS IN THE CITY. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />VACATION OF EASEMENTS (HIDDEN HILLS PRESERVE SUBDIVISION) <br />As part of the approval process for the Hidden Hills plat, staff scheduled a public hearing for 7:00 pm, <br />at the Council's December 3, 2001 meeting. The purpose of the public hearing was to take public <br />comment on the proposed vacation of easements, which would allow the developer for the subdivision <br />to properly design the public improvement layouts. Mayor Miron called the public hearing to order and <br />there were no oral or written comments relative to this matter. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the vacation of easements for the Hidden Hills <br />Preserve subdivision. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
