City Council meeting of December 17, 2001 <br />Page 8 <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />Granger made motion, Petryk seconded, directing the Planning Commission to consider a plan <br />amendment and rezoning from multi -family to a new ` officellight industrial zoning district. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VACANCIES ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND PARKS COMMISSION <br />At its December 3, 2001 meeting, City staff informed Council that the term of PC member Bronwen <br />Kleissler is up for reappointment at the end of the year. Staff was directed to contact Bronwen to find <br />out her desire to remain as a PC member, but PC Chairman was unable to contact her to find out <br />whether or not she would like to continue her service on the PC. Councilman Puleo felt that term <br />expiration should not mean automatic reappointment. <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, directing staff to develop a process that the Council could <br />adopt with respect to Planning Commission and Parks Commission reappointment. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />2002 SALARY RESOLUTION <br />Finance Director Ron Otkin prepared the City's annual resolution for the 2002 salaries, which include <br />wage rates for part-time and full-time employees. At its December 3, 2001 meeting, the Council <br />adopted the budget for 2002, which included funds for salary adjustments for employees who received <br />satisfactory performance appraisals. <br />Miron made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2001-78 SETTING 2002 SALARIES <br />FOR CITY EMPLOYEES AND ESTABLISHING EMPLOYEE REIMBURSEMENT LEVELS. <br />VOTING AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron <br />Motion Carried. <br />CSAH 8/14 PUBLIC MEETING <br />Miron made motion, Granger seconded, to schedule a special City Council meeting for January 15, <br />2002, from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm, at the Hugo Fire Hall, to discuss a study for the connection of I -35E <br />with TH61 along the CSAH 8/14 corridor between 14CP Street and 145m Street. <br />All aye.
