MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JANUARY 3, 2000 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Walter Stoltzman at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ABSENT: Jim Leroux <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Discussion of new City Hall <br />Capital Improvement Workshop <br />Interim Administrator <br />Liquor License (The End Zone) <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Barnes made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />General Claims for January 3, 2000 <br />Findings of Fact (Carpenter's) <br />Solid Waste Haulers Licenses (Renewal) <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Haas made motion, Petryk seconded, to approve the minutes for the Council meeting of December 20. <br />1999, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT (CARPENTER'S) <br />The Council considered the Findings of Fact, prepared by the City Attorney, regarding the hearing held <br />by the Council on December 20, 1999 on allegations that Carpenter's Steakhouse violated the terms of <br />its liquor license by selling an alcoholic beverage to an underage person. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved the Findings of Fact as submitted. <br />SOLID WASTE HAULERS LICENSE RENEWAL <br />The following firms have submitted applications to renew their license to haul garbage, refuse, and <br />recyclables in Hugo. They have paid the required renewal fee and provided proof of adequate liability <br />insurance: Maroney's Sanitation, Ace Solid Waste, Gene's Disposal, Red Arrow, United Waste, and <br />Pierre's DoAll Service. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved renewing the annual waste hauler*s <br />license in 2000 for the firms indicated. <br />
