MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 1. 200 <br />Mayor Walter Stoltzman called the Council meeting to order at 7:00 pm. <br />PRESENT: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />City Administrator, Mike Ericson <br />City Attorney, Dave Snyder <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell <br />Water Resource Engineer, Andrea Moffatt <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of <br />April 17, 2000, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the minutes for the executive session of April <br />20, 2000, as submitted. <br />Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the minutes for the City Council meeting of <br />April 24, 2000, as amended. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to approve the claims for May 1, 2000, in the amount <br />of $33,714.63. <br />Councilman Haas questioned the claim from WSB for HHM Land, and the charges from WSB for <br />the Dan Ramberg CUP. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />VACATION OF ELMCREST AVENUE (PRATTI <br />Len Pratt, property owner, requested vacations be granted by the city for street easements cn <br />Elmcrest Avenue. The vacations would be for a development proposal in the area known as <br />Wenzel Farms. The city engineer recommended that the City Council grant the easements <br />contingent on their future value to the City of Hugo. Secondly, the Parks Commission has <br />proposed a trail through the vacated street easements, and it requests that the Council send a letter <br />to the City of Lino Lakes to allow an easement adjacent to this property in order that an east/west <br />trail can be designed and constructed. Staff recommended approval of vacation of the easements <br />for Elmcrest Avenue. Mayor Stoltzman the meeting to a public hearing to consider comments on <br />this matter. There were no oral or written comments to be considered. <br />Haas made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 2000-10, A RESOLUTION <br />VACATING STREET EASEMENTS LOCATED ALONG ELMCREST AVENUE. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />
