City Council meeting of June 19, 2000 <br />Page 8 <br />CULVERTS ON 157TH STREET AND 165TH STREET <br />Councilman Leroux stated that because of Washington County's intent to increase the hydraulic <br />capacity of culverts located on Harrow Avenue and 17& Street, the City should start the <br />permitting process to do the same for culverts located on 157' and 165' Streets. <br />Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, requesting the City's Water Resource Engineering firm, <br />WSB, prepare a Scope of Service for cost of permits for restoration of hydraulic capacity of <br />culverts located on 157m Street and 165`h Street. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MN/DOT RIGHT-OF-WAY POLICIES (TH61 PROPERTY ACQUISITION) <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell, reviewed MnDot's policy for right-of-way acquisition, as outlined in <br />his memo of June 8, 2000. No formal action was required. <br />CITY PROJECTS STATUS REPORT <br />City Engineer, Dave Mitchell, provided the City Council with an update on the various City <br />projects underway in the City of Hugo. <br />JOINT COUNCIL MEETING WITH PLANNING COMMISSION ON JUNE 28, 2000 <br />City Administrator, Mike Ericson, related Leonard Pratt's enthusiasm for the Wenzel Farms <br />development, and strongly encouraged Council participation in Pratt's presentation at the Planning <br />Commission meeting on Wednesday, June 28, 2000. <br />JOINT MEETING WITH LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />The Hugo City Council will meet with the Lino Lakes' Council on Saturday, July 8, 2000, from <br />9:00 am to 11:00 am, at the Lino Lakes City Hall, to discuss issues related to the communities' <br />common border. <br />TOWN MEETING (ARCHITECT'S FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR NEW CITY HALL) <br />A "town meeting" will be held on either July 190' or 20`h to discuss the architect's feasibility study <br />with Hugo residents. Bob Russek, architect with Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, will <br />present his preliminary work to the City. <br />RECESS <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to recess tonight's meeting at 10:25 pm until Wednesday, <br />June 28, 2000, at 7:00 pm, to hold a joint meeting with the Hugo Planning Commission. <br />A4 aye.
