City Council meeting of November 6, 2000 <br />Page 3 <br />FINAL PAYMENT FOR OAKSHORE PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT <br />(WUSSLER/PETERSON) <br />Quast Contracting, Inc., made application to the City for final payment for the public improvement <br />drainage project on the Wussler/Peterson property located on Ethan Avenue. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the final payment in the amount of $15,934.00. <br />APPROVAL OF CHARITABLE GAMBLING LICENSE <br />The Church of the Incarnation made application to conduct charitable gambling at Woody's Bar and <br />Grill located at 12010 Keystone Avenue, to allow for the sale of pull -tabs. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved issuance of a charitable gambling license to the Church of the Incarnation for the <br />sale of pull -tabs at Woody's Bar and Grill, 12010 Keystone Avenue, and waiver of the 30 -day waiting <br />period. <br />APPROVAL OF CLAIMS <br />Council member Petryk questioned a claim submitted by WSB Engineering, and Pete Willenbring of <br />WSB was present to answer her question. <br />Barnes made motion, Haas seconded, to approve the claims for November 6, 2000, as submitted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF REVISION TO CITY'S SNOW AND ICE CONTROL POLICY <br />In reviewing the City's snow and ice control policy, Public Works Director, Chris Petree, <br />recommended a few changes to more clearly define what the City is liable for, and what actions the <br />City would take if any damage occurs. <br />Petryk made motion, Barnes seconded, to accept the Chris Petree's recommended changes to <br />the City's snow and ice control policy, in anticipation of the City taking over the snow plowing from <br />Washington County. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />APPROVAL OF ENGINEER'S AGREEMENT FOR CONTROL SYSTEM MASTER PLAN <br />City staff had met with the City Engineer to review the water utilities control system. Control <br />systems are necessary for the public works department to accurately monitor the City's water and <br />wastewater utility systems. City staff recommended that a control system master plan be developed to <br />achieve a single, integrated control system Council member Petryk suggested that the Council hold a <br />workshop with newly elected Council members after January 2, 2001. <br />Haas made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the Supplemental Letter Agreement for a Control <br />System Master Plan with the City Engineer, in the amount of $12,000.00. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />
