The results of this Study will
provide information to the Parks Commission to help development of the community's park system.
This study is timely as the WBL school district recently completed a similar analysis, which the City
contributed to. The Parks Commission recommended that the City contribute $500 towards the
Study. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the City providing the Mahtomedi school district
$500 to help pay for an Athletic Facility Needs Study.
CIRCLE PINES CENTENNIAL YOUTH HOCKEY ASSN (GAMBLING LICENSE)
The Centennial Youth Hockey Association, P.O. Box 356, Circle Pines, MN., requested a Premise
Permit Renewal and lawful Gambling License to sell pulltabs at The End Zone Bar & Grill, 13891
Forest Boulevard. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Lawful Gambling License and
waiver of the 30 -day waiting period, as requested.
LOC REDUCTION (SUNSET LAKE RIDGE)
The Council considered a letter from the City Engineer recommending that the letter of credit
requirement for the Sunset Lake Ridge subdivision be reduced to $2,000, in recognition of work
performed to date. Public improvements for the project are substantially complete, except for some
site -restoration work that will be required in the spring. Council member Barnes questioned whether
the City should retain 25% of the construction cost for one year to assure corrections are made to the
road, if necessary. It was her desire to discuss this matter with the City Engineer at the next meeting.
