City Council meeting of January 19, 1999 <br />Page 5 <br />Leroux made motion, Haas seconded, that the City supports the concept of restoring the Hopkins <br />schoolhouse into a youth center, and await a report from Katie Riopel as to the success of her efforts <br />to get the plan implemented. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />OAKSHORE PARK PUBLIC EWPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />The City Council continued their consideration of the proposed improvements to the Oakshore Park <br />subdivision. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, that the City retain GME Consultants for the geotechnical <br />work for the Oakshore Park Public Improvement project. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, authorizing the City Engineer to conduct an infiltration <br />analysis to assess the suitability of using infiltration as a storm water management tool for the <br />Oakshore Park project, for a maximum fee of $1,000. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Petryk made motion, Stoltzman seconded, directing staff to forward a letter to the RCWD requesting <br />their participation in the $1,000 cost for the infiltration analysis. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />129TH STREET PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />Based on Council direction, a revised assessment roll was prepared for the 129th Street improvement <br />project, as well as some additional options for Council consideration. <br />Barnes made motion, Petryk seconded, to continue the assessment hearing for the 129th Street P. I. <br />project at the City Council meeting of February 1, 1999, along with notice of the 30 -day appeal <br />process. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />PELOOUIN INDUSTRIAL PARK PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />On December 21, 1998, the City Council received a petition from owners of not less than 35% of <br />frontage of the real property abutting Forest Boulevard, 152nd Street, Francesca Avenue, Freeland <br />Avenue, in the area of the Peloquin Industrial Park, requesting extension of municipal water, sanitary <br />
