Motion Carried. <br />REZONING/PRELEWWARY PLAT (FRANCME'S MEADOWS) <br />On December 21, 1998, the City Council considered the application of Scott Montgomery, 5756 Red <br />Pine Blvd., WBL, MN., to rezone eight acres located at 5773 Egg Lake Road, from C, SFE, and RR1 <br />to SFU, in order to allow the subdivision of eight acres of property into 15 single family home lots. <br />The Hugo PC had previously considered this request at their meeting of December 16, 1998, and <br />recommended approval of the rezoning and preliminary plat. The Council tabled action on this <br />request in order to allow the developer to amend the submitted application to show abutting <br />properties, and provide public road access to the oudot being created as part of the proposed <br />subdivision. The Council considered the revised preliminary plat, as well as graph Findings and <br />Conditions of plat approval. <br />Barnes made motion, Stoltzman seconded, to adopt ORDINANCE 1999-330, AN ORDINANCE <br />AMENDING CHAPTER 320 OF CITY CODE BY AMENDING THE ZONING <br />CLASSIFICATION OF THE DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY. <br />VOTING AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman <br />Motion Carried. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the Findings and Conditions for the Francine <br />Meadows subdivision. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Barnes seconded, to approve the preliminary plat for the Francine Meadows <br />subdivision subject to Findings and Conditions. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HISTORIC SCHOOLHOUSE RENOVATION PROJECT (KATIE RIOPEL) <br />Ms. Katie Riopel addressed the Council regarding restoration of the historic Hopkins schoolhouse <br />located at 5970 170th Street for use as a "youth center". Ms. Riopel outlined her plans for <br />restoration, and was looking to the Council for acceptance of the concept. <br />
