City Council meeting of July 12, 1999 <br />Page 4 <br />BALD EAGLE INDUSTRIAL PARK (3RD PARTY REVIEW) <br />Councilman Haas again stated the need for more information regarding the Park. After discussion <br />among the Council, it was determined that as land developers, the City should find ways to better market <br />the property. It was suggested that the City talk to other communities to learn from their past <br />experience. <br />Barnes made motion, Stotlzman seconded, to table this matter until the meeting of August 2, 1999, to <br />allow time for the Administrator to prepare a report. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CREEKVIEW PRESERVE 2ND ADDITION <br />Mayor Stoltzman reiterated his assertion that the shoreland setback from the North Branch of <br />Clearwater Creek does apply to the development. One lot is impacted in the 2nd Addition, whereas the <br />3rd*Addition has considerable more lots not meeting the ordinance. <br />Petryk made motion, Barnes seconded, that Backes Companies, developer for Creekview Preserve 2nd <br />Addition, be notified to amend his plat to bring all lots (14 and 15, Block 3) into conformance with the <br />City's shoreland setback regulations. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />CONTRACTORS' WORKING HOURS <br />Residents adjacent to the Sweet Grass Meadows subdivision, stated that workers have been working <br />prior to 7:00 am, after 7:00 pm, and all day on Sundays, to their objection. There was discussion of <br />adoption of an ordinance regulating working hours, or possibly addressing concerns in the Development <br />Agreement. No formal action was taken. <br />LETTER FROM THE PARKS COMMISSION <br />The Parks Commission is developing a brochure that would address tax benefits for landowners having <br />land condemned for park development. The City Attorney will review their request. <br />"CAT" MEETING <br />The City Administrator will meet July 13, 1999, 9:00 am, with Wayne Ellers of the DNR, Jerry Cusick, <br />Washington County Deputy, and Council members Barnes and Petryk to discuss recent cat sitings. <br />Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, to recess tonight's meeting at 9:30 pm until July 14, 1999, at <br />7:00 pm, to allow Council members to attend the special Planning Commission meeting. <br />All aye.
