City Council meeting of November 15, 1999 <br />Page 2 <br />BEAVER PONDS 3RD ADDITION (REDUCTION OF LETTER OF CREDIT) <br />The Council considered a recommendation from the City Engineer to reduce the letter of credit <br />requirement for Beaver Ponds 3rd Addition to $42, 975 in recognition of work performed to -date on <br />this project. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the letter of credit reduction, as recommended. <br />PINEVIEW MEADOWS (REDUCTION OF LETTER OF CREDIT) <br />The Council considered a recommendation from the City Engineer to reduce the letter of credit <br />requirement for Pineview Meadows to $76,600 in recognition of work performed to -date. Adoption of <br />the Consent Agenda approved the letter of credit reduction, as recommended. <br />FRANCINE'S MEADOWS (SUBSTANT AL COMPLETION/REDUCTION IN LOC) <br />The Council considered a letter from the City Engineer recommending that the City accept public <br />improvements within Francine's Meadows, as well as reduction in their letter of credit to $30,360. <br />Mayor Stotlzman expressed concern of potential drainage problems to the west of the road, in the <br />location of the Monno homestead. Tom Angus stated he will follow-up to make sure drainage is <br />working properly. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to accept the recommendation of the City Engineer and <br />accept the public improvements within Francine's Meadows as being substantially complete, and reduce <br />their letter of credit to $30,360 in recognition of work performed to -date. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />AMENDED ASSESSMENT ORDER (129TH STREET EWPROVEMENTS) <br />The City Council had previously adopted a resolution making assessments for public improvements along <br />129th Street at the north end of Bald Eagle Lake. The resolution called for interest to accrue on the <br />assessments beginning February 1, 1999. This project has been delayed as the City acquires easements <br />from adjacent property owners. The Council considered a resolution, prepared by the City's Finance <br />Director, amending the City's assessment resolution of February 1, 1999, to have interest accrue on the <br />assessments from the date the City Council accepts the public improvements as being complete, and <br />delaying placing the assessments on property taxes until after the project is complete. <br />Stoltzman made motion, Petryk seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1999-18, A RESOLUTION 1999- <br />18, A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE ASSESSMENT COLLECTION STRUCTURE FOR THE <br />129TH STREET P.I.
