Motion Carried.
Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the General Claims for March 2,
1998, as presented.
All aye. Motion Carried.
VARIANCE (6035180TH STREETI
Scott and Lois Wilson, 6035 180th Street, requested a variance to sideyard setback
requirements and maximum garage size allowed on their property in the ag zone. The
Wilsons wish to construct a six foot addition to their existing garage on site, continuing
the existing garage's 10 ft encroachment into the required 20 ft sideyard setback. In
addition, the Wilsons will be adding 168 sq ft onto the existing 1,120 sq ft garage, where
1,000 sq ft is allowed by ordinance. The Wilsons' stated intention is to use the extra space
as a hobby shop for woodworking. This matter was considered by the Board of Zoning
Adjustment at their meeting of February 25, 1998, where the Board recommended
approval of the variances, as requested. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the
two variances - a 10 ft sideyard variance for an expansion to the garage, and a variance to
the garage size allowing 1,288 sq ft.
