City Council meeting of April 6, 1998 <br />Page 5 <br />The Mayor referenced a letter from the Board of Water and Soil Resources requesting <br />that the City appoint the local government unit responsible for administrating the Wetland <br />Conservation Act of 1991 for that part of the City located in the Brown's Creek <br />Watershed. <br />STOP SIGN (WHITE OAK HEIGHTS SUBD.) <br />Miron made motion, Arcand seconded, directing City staff to install a STOP SIGN at the <br />entrance of the private gravel dreiveway entering Hadley Avenue from the north, near <br />Hadley Circle. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />HARDWOOD CREEK <br />Councilman Goiffon questioned the status of the Hardwood Creek cleaning project. <br />Because of other outstanding water/drainage issues, the following motion was made: <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to schedule a special meeting for April 27, 1998, <br />Hugo City Hall, at 7:30PK to receive an update from the City Water Resource Engineer, <br />Peter Wdlenbring, on drainage issues in the City. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Miron made motion, Arcand seconded, directing staff to provide the Council with a <br />"calendar of events" listing City Council activities. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ONEKA LAKE ASSESSMENT AGREEMENT <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the Oneka Lake Assessment <br />Agreement between the City of Hugo and T. Joseph Marier and Quentin Marier; Vern and <br />Marie Peloquin; Richard Aplikowski; and Frank and Jody Puleo. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />ROAD RESTRICTIONS <br />Mayor Miron requested that the City Attorney draft, for Council review, an amendment to <br />the road restriction ordinance allowing City staff to approve permits for overweight <br />haulers. <br />
