MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 4,1998 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:05PM. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Recommendation from Chief -in -Waiting, Joe McMahon <br />Fire Hall Plans and Specs <br />Beaver Ponds (Paying favor Public Improvements) <br />Sunset Lake Ridge Building Permits <br />Forest Lake Youth Service Bureau (Contract) <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of April 20, 1998 <br />General Claims for May 4, 1998 <br />Minor Subdivision (Preston) <br />On -sale Beer and Cigarette Licenses (Bobber's Boats and Bait) <br />Request for Part-time Employee <br />Wage Adjustment (Lindau) <br />Wilson Tool Picnic <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION (PRESTON) <br />Barb Strusinski, 9209 180th Street, and Mr. Gerald M. Preston, Tyler, TX., made application <br />for a minor subdivision of their property located on 180th Street, east of Inwood Avenue, in <br />the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 2. The property consists of approximately 29.9 acres and <br />is zoned agriculture. The request is to subdivide their property into one 13.4 acre parcel and <br />one 16.5 acre parcel, both of which meet the minimum lot size, and road frontage requirements <br />of the City. The Planning Commission considered this request at their meeting of April 22, <br />1998, and recommended approval of the subdivision subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Payment of the parkland dedication fee for the newly -created lot of $1,350.00. <br />2. Approval of the septic system location for Parcel A by Washington County. <br />3. Approval of the subdivision and site development plan by the RCWD. <br />4. Certification of the regulatory flood protection elevation and minimum first floor elevation <br />for Parcel A by a registered professional land surveyor. <br />Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the subdivision as conditioned. <br />
