City Council meeting of May 4, 1998 Page 3 Comments were then received for the Fenway Boulevard project: Tom Jackson questioned whether the property located at 130th and Fenway was given corner lot consideration. The City received three written objections to the proposed Fenway Boulevard project: Minnesota Pipe Line, the Jackson family, and Ken Tschida. Leroux made motion, Barnes seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1998-13, A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE FENWAY BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. Approval is subject to consideration given to corner lot credit for the Jackson property located at 130th Street and Fenway Boulevard. VOTING AYE: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron Motion Carried. FENWAY AVENUE PROJECT Barnes made motion, Leroux seconded, that the City offer $500 to the Buenos to be used for a private appraisal of the value of the easement to be taken by the City. In return, the Buenos must agree that this payment waives the right to collect any further payment for an appraisal under condemnation proceedings. The City shall proceed with a "quick take" so as not to lose time on the project. All aye. Motion Carried. Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1998-14, A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE FENWAY AVENUE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. VOTING AYE: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron Motion Carried. Barnes made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adopt RESOLUTION 1998-15, A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE FENWAY BOULEVARD/AVENUE STREET, WATER, SEWER, STORMWATER, AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS. Bids for project shall allow for a deduct of the Fenway Avenue project. VOTING AYE: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron Motion Carried. FIRE HALL PLANS AND SPECS Pete Villard, Trossen and Wright, presented the Council with plans and specifications for the new Fire Hall, and stated that construction bids would be opened at City Hall on May 28, 1998, at 10:00AM.
