NENUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JUNE 1. 1998 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:00 p.m. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />City Administrator, Robert Museus <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />City Clerk, Mary Ann Creager <br />ADDITIONS TO AGENDA <br />Hire public works summer help <br />Wetlands Alteration Permit (Thomas) <br />Peloquin rezoning request <br />Water Management Plan <br />Fire Chief retirement recognition <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />Goiffon made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the following Consent Agenda: <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of May 18, 1998 <br />General claims for June 1, 1998 <br />Minor Subdivision (Nelson) <br />Special Use Permit (Bruggeman) <br />Minor Subdivision (Storm) <br />Minor Subdivision (Jackson) <br />Site Plan Approval (Wiegele) <br />Curbside Recycling Grant Application <br />1998 Street Maintenance Contract <br />EAW Request <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION (NELSON) <br />Tim and Karen Nelson, 7605 128th Street, requested a minor subdivision of their property at <br />the above address. The property is zoned a mix of agriculture and RR2, consisting of 26.9 <br />acres. One lot will consist of 20 acres, and the second lot, approximately 6.9 acres. The <br />Planning Commission considered this request at their meeting of May 27, 1998, and <br />recommended approval of the subdivision, subject to a permit from the RCWD and payment <br />of the parkland dedication fee, $1,350.00. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />subdivision, as conditioned. <br />SPECIAL USE PERMIT (BRUGGEMAN) <br />Jim and Brenda Bruggeman, 5259 125th Street, requested a Special Use Permit to <br />
