City Council meeting of June 1, 1998 <br />Page 2 <br />construct a 24' x 36' woodframed horse building, with a 15' x 20' attached lean-to on their <br />property at the above address. An existing 40' x 90' is located on the site, where 3,600 sq ft <br />accessory building is allowed by ordinance. Hugo City Code, Chapter 320-4, Subd. C(3), <br />allows the issuance of a SUP to construct an accessory storage in excess of 3,600 square <br />feet for parcels less than twenty acres in the Agricultural District. The Planning Commission <br />considered this request at their meeting of May 27, 1998, and recommended approval of the <br />SUP, subject to the conditions that the building not be used for any commercial activity, and <br />the SUP sunset with any subdivision of the property. Adoption of the Consent Agenda <br />approved the SUP as conditioned. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION (STORM) <br />Grover Storm, 8047 132nd St. N, requested to subdivide his property at the above address <br />into two 5 acre lots. The property is currently zoned RR2. The PC considered Mr. Storm's <br />request at their meeting of May 27, 1998, and recommended approval of the subdivision <br />subject to permit by the Rice Creed Watershed District. A parkland dedication fee of $1,350 <br />will be charged for the new lot created. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the <br />subdivision, as conditioned. <br />MINOR SUBDIVISION (JACKSON) <br />Judd Jackson, 5118 130th St. N., requested to subdivide Lot 1, Block 2 of the Bald Eagle <br />Industrial Park into two lots in accordance with the submitted site survey. The PC <br />considered this request at their meeting of May 27, 1998, and recommended approval of the <br />subdivision. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the subdivision as outlined in the <br />submitted survey. <br />SITE PLAN APPROVAL (WIEGELE) <br />Mr. Stephen J. Wiegele, 11576 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury, requested site plan approval <br />to construct an officelwarehouse on the new parcel being created by the Jackson subdivision. <br />The PC considered this request at their meeting of May 27, 1998, and recommended <br />approval of the site plan, subject to the City Engineer approving the parking and drainage <br />plan for the site. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the site plan as conditioned. <br />CURBSIDE RECYCLING GRANT APPLICATION <br />The Council considered a Memorandum of Agreement between Washington County and the <br />City of Hugo for disbursement of curbside recycling grant funds to the City to be used to <br />support residential recycling programs within the community. Adoption of the Consent <br />Agenda approved the Agreement, as presented. <br />1998 STREET MAINTENANCE CONTRACT <br />The Council considered an amended rate schedule for the 1998 Street Maintenance Contract <br />
