City Council meeting of July 6, 1998 <br />Page 6 <br />and City standard compatibility. The City Administrator will draft for Council review a letter of <br />instructions for construction services. <br />WATER ISSUES MEETING (JULY 8. 1998) <br />The City has scheduled a meeting with Peter Willenbring, the City's Water Resource Engineer, for <br />7:30PM, July 8, 1998, at the Rice Lake Park Building, to conduct an in -progress review of storm water <br />projects currently underway in the community. No further action was required. <br />RCW D MEETING (JULY 13, 1998) <br />The City received an invitation from the RCWD to attend the District's Board of Managers meeting on <br />July 13, 1998 to discuss the District's proposed rules, as well as Washington County Judicial Ditch #2 <br />(Hardwood Creek). No further action was required. <br />BIDS FOR ROAD GRAVELING <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, authorizing to advertise for bids for the 1998 road gravel <br />project. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />INTER -STATE LUMBER (DRAFT LETTER) <br />The City Administrator drafted a letter to Inter -State regarding their desire to expand the business. <br />Miron made motion, Leroux seconded, to approve the letter to Inter -State Lumber as drafted. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />IMPROVEMENTS TO CITY PARK <br />The City has received a proposal from OSM's landscape architect for improvements to be made to the <br />City's park adjacent to City Hall. <br />Miron made motion, Barnes seconded, to accept the proposal from OSM to provide landscape <br />architectural services for the City Hall park improvements, in the amount of $2,700. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to adjourn at 10:16 p.m. <br />All aye. Motion Carried. <br />MaryCreager, City Cler <br />City ugo <br />
