MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF JULY 20. 1998 <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 7:03PM. <br />PRESENT: Arcand, Barnes, Goiffon, Leroux, Miron <br />City Attorney, Greg Galler <br />City Engineer, Tom Angus <br />Financial Consultant, Rusty Fifield <br />Deputy Clerk, Michele Lindau <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Mapping by Mark Hurd <br />Amended purchase agreement (Roy Molitor) <br />Update from City Engineer <br />Update on gun ordinance (Bald Eagle Lake) <br />Leroux made motion, Goiffon seconded, to approve the following consent agenda: <br />Minutes for the City Council meeting of July 8, 1998 <br />General claims for July 20, 1998 <br />Findings of Fact- Eagle View Meadows Rezoning <br />Findings of Fact - Sweet Grass Meadows Rezoning <br />Brown's Creek Watershed District Appointments <br />Technical Advisory Committee Appointment <br />All aye. Motion carried. <br />EAGLE VIEW MEADOWS REZONING (FINDINGS OF FACT) <br />The City Council considered the Findings of Fact prepared by the City Attorney regarding the City's <br />rezoning of property located at 14134 and 14104 Fenway Avenue from RR 1 to SFU. Adoption of the <br />Consent Agenda approved the Findings of Fact as presented. <br />SWEET GRASS MEADOWS REZONING (FINDINGS OF FACT) <br />The City Council considered the Findings of Fact prepared by the City Attorney regarding the City's <br />rezoning of approximately 67 acres of land located in the SW 14 of the SW 1/4 of Section 19, and the <br />N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of the S/E 1/4 of Section 17, and that part of the N 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of Section <br />21, lying north of the centerline of Oneka Lake Blvd ., all in T31N, R21 W, Washington County, MN., <br />from Ag to SFU. Adoption of the Consent Agenda approved the Findings of Fact as presented. <br />BCWD APPOINTMENTS <br />At the Council meeting of July 6,1998, the City Council received a letter from the Washington County <br />Office of Administration regarding potential vacancies on the BCWD's Board of Managers, and <br />requesting nominations to the Board be made by July 31, 1998. The City Council had previously tabled <br />action on this letter to allow time for residents within the District's area to indicate an interest in serving <br />
